McMillan Model 101 FLO-SENSORS are capable of measuring extremely low liquid flow rates from
13 mL/minute up to 10 L/minute with a full scale accuracy of ±1.0% or better!
A wide variety of fluids may be measured. Repeatable results are achieved using a patented Pelton-type microturbine wheel. This proven design has been providing precision results since 1988 and has developed a well-deserved reputation for continuous operational service for many years without failure.
Because of the compact size and economical cost of these products, the Model 101 FLO-SENSORS are suitable for a wide variety of industrial, commercial, laboratory and O.E.M. applications. Some sample applications include measurement of hydrocarbon fluids, fuels, light oils, solvents, coolant, pesticides, mild acids, alkalis, and deionized water.
Several power and output configurations are available,including both pulse and analog outputs. NIST Traceable certificates are available.

  MODEL 109
Thermal mass liquid flow sensor for extremely low flow rates.
The Model 109 Micro FLO-SENSOR will precisely measure flow rates of virtually any fluid, as low as 0.05 mL/minute or as high as 10 mL/minute. Repeatable results are achieved by utilizing a patented thermal mass flow sensor, designed for use with liquid applications. This proven design provides reliable results for extremely low flow rates.
Stainless steel tube fittings provide easy connection and connect to all stainless steel wetted parts. This allows the 109 to be used with most fluids, including acids, solvents, and other corrosive chemicals. A pressure rating of 500 psig maximum allows for installation in higher-pressure systems.
The superior design of the thermal mass sensors and electronic technology used in the Model 109 results in its compact size. The footprint of the unit measures only 4.75 x 2.05 inches (without fittings), allowing the unit to be integrated into many existing OEM systems.
This advanced Micro FLO-SENSOR is capable of measuring changes in flow as small as ±0.005 mL/minute. It features very quick response times for real-time flow measurement. Download brochure.
  MODEL 400
Liquid flow controller to precisely control liquid flow rates remotely.
The Model 400 Liquid FLO-CONTROLLER provides low cost liquid flow control. Operating with liquids in the same way MFCs work with gases, an integrated flow sensor and proportional control valve provide a complete package.
The heart of the FLO-CONTROLLER is the flow sensor, which provides flow rate feedback for accurate control. A Model 101 microturbine FLO-SENSOR is used for this purpose. The output of the flow sensor is sent to additional processing electronics, which compare the set point (provided remotely by the user) to the actual flow rate and adjust the valve accordingly. A error signal is generated if the FLO-CONTROLLER is unable to control. Download brochure.
