Moisture Analyzers

Ametek moisture analyzers are based upon one of two technologies: 1 proprietary Quartz Crystal Microbalance and electrolytic (P2O5). Both technologies are restricted to monitoring trace moisture (ppmv and below) in gases and vaporizable liquids. Quartz crystal microbalance technology, exclusively manufactured by AMETEK, is one of the most sensitive, stable, and contamination resistant technologies available for the on line measurement of moisture. This robust technology is employed in continuous operation in: catalytic reformers; natural gas gathering systems, processing facilities, and pipeline networks; atmospheric gas plants; and cutting-edge semiconductor facilities. Most of these moisture analyzers are also equipped with On Line Verification – another AMETEK exclusive. The electrolytic moisture analyzers are primarily employed in portable applications and for the monitoring of moisture in chlorine gas.

On-line process analyzers for the accurate determination of the trace moisture content of gases. Analysis ranges and accuracy vary by model from as high as 2500 parts per million by volume down to <1 part per billion by volume.

	303B Moisture Analyzer - Portable/Fixed - Electronic/Automatic This small, lightweight analyzer uses a P2O5, electrolytic sensor to provide, quick and easy measurement of ppmv moisture levels in sample gas. Download brochure.
	Model 5800 Low PPMV Moisture Analyzer - For Racks and Benches This moisture analyzer is well suited for applications where the sample gas is very clean and the moisture concentrations of interest are below 1.0 ppmv. This quartz crystal microbalance moisture analyzer features a local display and keypad. The Model 5800 is suitable for table-top installation or 19" rack installation (optional). 	Model 5920 Moisture Analyzer - For Racks and Benches This moisture analyzer is specifically designed for ultra high purity gas applications common to semiconductor fabrication facilities. This analyzer is ideal for monitoring gas quality in the range of 1 to 100 ppbv moisture. The Model 5920 incorporates new features that make it very easy to use - even when switching gases. This makes the 5920 an excellent choice for either fixed installations or mobile applications such as analytical carts. 	Model 5000 Process Moisture Analyzer - Staionary for Industrial & Outdoor applications The versatile AMETEK Model 5000 is a highly sensitive moisture analyzer for process applications where the continuous, reliable measurement of moisture in vapors and gases is required. The Model 5000 analyzer measures moisture on-line by monitoring the vibrational frequency change of a hygroscopically sensitized quartz crystal that is exposed alternately to wet sample and dry reference gas for 30 second periods.
