Technology Overview

Continuous Wavelength Scanning

More importantly, wavelength scanning enables superior decomposition of interfering spectra, resulting in much higher selectivity than fixed filter or diode array based instruments. Illustrated in the figure is interference of moisture spectrum (H2O) with infrared nitric oxide (NO) measurement, potentially causing significant drifts or measurement inaccuracies. Our wavelength scanning spectrometer and advanced spectral processing algorithm resolves this interference.

High optical throughput or Etendue

High optical throughput or Etendue is critical for high sensitivity measurement and/or measurement through optically opaque samples. Higher throughput results in higher spectral quality or signal-to-noise ratio. Our proprietary tunable filter spectrometer enables ultra high Etendue without the costs and complexities otherwise needed to achieve such performance. Precisive’s analyzers achieve parts-per-billion (ppb) sensitivity for measurement of most gases and parts-per-million (ppm) sensitivity for most liquids.

- 20X better signal-to-noise ratio

Highly Versatile Sensor Platform

Our spectroscopy engine platform enables developments of custom monitoring applications rapidly and cost-effectively. Various gases and liquids are detectable within the currently supported Visible – Infrared wavelength region. Future development will include the Ultraviolet region.

Design Simplicity

Precisive’s optical analyzers do not require high-precision alignment between the optical components and subassemblies typically required by other high-performance spectrometer. This results in vibration-immune instruments suitable for installation in industrial processes as well as cost-effective instruments.

Advanced Signal Processing

Various spectral processing algorithms are available from filtering to chemometrics. Customized application software runs on the background without requiring any customer input to ensure the highest level of robustness and performance.
